Our first team from China is very lucky. They could have embarked the last flight to Rodrigues before airport was closed in Mauritius, because of the cyclone Carlos.
A 82h trip on the Eastern Bank is initially scheduled. Yann wants to take no risk with such a system around and decides to fish around Rodrigues.

Activity is good, as much for trolling as for baiting. Jigging is a little more…. delicate!

Numerous yellowfin tunas (40kg for the biggest) are caught trolling, as well as nice wahoos (biggest of 20kg). They confirm that activity is still great around Rodrigues.
