What are the best times for marlin and jigging? How does the moon affect all this?
In Rodrigues, fishing is good from October to June, either for marlin or jigging. Concerning the marlins, the last season showed the moon was favourable for the blue marlins along with those of black descent. However, we can not guarantee that the upcoming years will be the same. For jigging...the moon is not important, it's the current which produces the results, and this is impossible to forecast. During black moons we utilise phosphorescent jigs and during full moons, the others.

Can we bring our own fishing equipment?
The boat is disposed of all the necessary equipment for all the types of fishing offered on our site. However, if you prefer to fish with your own equipment, please consult with us to avoid bringing equipment which is not adapted for Rodrigues.

Do you do popper fishing?
No, but if you wish to fish the Giant trevally (GT) along the barrier of the coral reef, search the channels and the patches of coral, you can combine your stay with Eric CESAR, a Rodriguan skipper specialised in coastal fishing and equipped with a 26-food open boat, LE BOSS, which is dedicated for casting poppers.

Can we keep a small fish to cook during the evening?
The fish are the property of the boat; however, it would be with great pleasure for the team to prepare some fillets for your dinner.

Do you offer half-day excursions?
No.

What happens if a fishing excursion needs to be cancelled due to bad weather conditions?
The fishing excursion will be reimbursed before you leave Rodrigues. It should be noted that only the captain can make the decision to cancel an excursion. If the client, for personal reasons, cancels the excursion, the outing will not be reimbursed.

What happens if a client breaks or loose a piece of equipment accidentally?

Can you organise airfare, lodging, and transfers?
You need to reserve your flights to Rodrigues and we can help you with the rest. The transfers airport/hotel/airport along with hotel/boat/hotel are included in our package.

I would like to come and fish in Rodrigues, but I am alone. Can I share the boat with other fishermen?
