Claudius, Denis, Pascal et Lionel

La météo ne permet pas de monter sur le banc de l’Est pour cette session de 82h. L’activité autour de l’île est difficile compte tenu des variations de courants parfois très forts, parfois nuls, ainsi qu’une houle croisée et d’un vent soutenu. Bizarre pour la saison !

• Néanmoins en pêche à la traîne de beaux wahoos et quelques thons jaunes sont faits. Lionel prend son premier marlin noir de 150kg environ.

• En pêche au jig Denis remonte un doggy de 35kg.

• Claudius fait la différence en slow jigging, technique complémentaire à la pêche au jig et terriblement efficace lorsqu’elle est pratiquée avec du matériel adapté. Pour un poisson pris en pêche au jig traditionnel (fast jigging) 4 poissons le seront en slow jigging. Les résultats parlent d’eux-mêmes ! Une GT de 20kg environ a été ainsi prise et relâchée avec cette technique par Claudius.

Durant ces 4 jours autour de Rodrigues 27 espèces différentes ont été attrapées. Comme l’an passé, Toc notre marin et Denis ont fêté leurs anniversaires à bord dans une excellente ambiance.
