Within the framework of the partnership with FREMER Jérémie comes back with Sylvain and Hugues in the aim of placing satellite beacons on the rostrum fish in order to understand better their migratory patterns.
The sea is favorable for swordfish – xiphias gladius – day and night as well as marlin fishing.
Results:
– A xiphias weighing about 43 kg caught on squid in 100m of water. Unfortunately, it could not be released.

– A blue marlin of about 80kg could be released with a beacon.
– A blue marlin weighing 190 kg arrived dead at the boat.
– 3 other marlins were hit unsuccessfully
