Bruno & Christian (Gabon) 89h Est
For the 7th following year aboard Black Marlin, Bruno and Christian (2nd time) team up. They are both equipped with heavy spinning tackle (Shimano Stella 30000 rods).
Christian will be the first to fight and release a blue marlin estimated 150kg. Bruno will release a black marlin about 100 kg. Trolling with conventional rods and heavy spinning tackle, nice yellowfin tunas are caught (an average of 15kg and 29kg for the biggest) as well as wahoos (the biggest of 20 kg) and one dorado.

Jigging and baiting will bring 2 nice doggies of 46 and 42kg, jobfish, seriolas, red coral trouts and trevallies lugubris. We take advantage of the good conditions (low wind and swell and highly motivated customers) to try swordfish (xyphias gladius) along these 3 nights, but unsuccessful! However, 2 yellowfin tunas of 15 and 20kg as well as a big-eye tuna of 38kg (the very first one within 10 years!) came disturbing the quietness of the nights.
