The cyclone JOALANE came through without damage but disturbing Nicolas and Laurence’s schedule, shortening their trip. On the Eastern Bank, some swell and wind left, punctuate this quiet day with a few wahoos (22kg for the biggest) and some yellowfin tunas.

On the second day, Westward, activity is a little better:

• trolling, yellowfin tunas (12kg the biggest), wahoos (16kg the biggest) and a sailfish unhooked.

• jigging/baiting: 1 small doggy, trevallies, red coral trouts and two spots red snappers.

This after cyclone period was a bit gloomy for this sympathetic couple, used to come to Rodrigues.
