Another beautiful day for this 89-hour Hawkins Bank trip with a fantastic group: Olivier, Jean Charles, Marc (France), and Leonardo Renzi (Italy). The weather forced us to move the departure forward by 24 hours as the forecast predicted a change in conditions at the end of the session.

There wasn’t much activity in terms of trolling, apart from our usual wahoo and yellowfin tuna. However, we did catch two marlins on the last morning before arriving in Rodrigues.

Jigging and live baiting were excellent, allowing each of our anglers to reel in some beautiful dogtooth tuna: six fish weighing over 30kg, including one weighing 62kg caught by Leonardo, the 283rd fish weighing over 50kg.

Numerous red snappers, different varieties of trevally, yellowtail, jobfish, sharks, etc. completed the picture.

A great success!
