Our burgundian friends came for 3 one-day trips and a 34h on the Eastern bank. The sea was definitely too nice! Alain, their friend, President of Federation of Rhone (APPAMA), came with them for his very first tropical fishing trip with us. This year, Philippe D. was equipped for jigging and heavy spinning. Unfortunately, there was no big piece… For his part, Philippe B. was well equipped in “millesimes”.

This season’s beginning is mixed. Some nice wahoos trolling (30kg for the biggest), doggies (17kg for the biggest), yellowfin tunas, dorados, jobfish… and a beautiful Giant Trevally released by Philippe B. Numerous red snappers and a sailfish unhooked. Finally, this trip will not be noted in the records… Maybe their previous trips were too nice?

Fishing is like wine! It’s not because you give all your heart that it is a great “millesime”.
