The trips are definitely following one another and are similar in terms of sea conditions. However, we were able to visit Hawkins and then tour Rodrigues with this magnificent French team: Philou, Philippe, Robert and Stephane.

Numerous sailfish strikes (two released), one large marlin lost, another hooked but not landed, and one spearfish caught: that’s it for the billfish while trolling, along with some beautiful yellowfin tunas and wahoos.

On the jigging side, a nice variety rewarded the relentless efforts of a team that never gave up: dogtooth tuna (the largest weighing 41kg), beautiful trevallies, red corail trouts, red snappers, amberjacks and other groupers.
