The weather was very complicated for these two French friends who came from Gabon with Bruno and Mike.

Conditions only allowed them to stay around Rodrigues for 34 and 58 hours. While trolling was good, jigging and baiting were much more difficult due to poor currents.

Nevertheless, a 250kg black marlin was caught (dead at the bottom after an hour-long fight, hook stuck in the dorsal fin and leader around the tail), along with some beautiful wahoos, yellowfin tunas, mahi mahi and a sailfish, which was released.

A few dogtooth tuna, trevally and other redfish completed the picture. Well done gentlemen for your efforts 💪💥.
