The weather has been unsettled at the start of the season for this fantastic French couple, Pierre and Murielle. Challenging conditions have forced us to extend our day around Rodrigues and spend 46 and 58 hours on the eastern bank.

The trolling was memorable, with lots of yellowfin tuna (the largest weighing 25kg), wahoo (the largest weighing 23kg), mahi mahi and a small blue marlin that got away.

Live baiting brought us three magnificent dogtooth tuna weighing 62.5, 70.7 and 47kg. These were the 278th and 279th doggies weighing over 50kg since we started fishing.
