Paul from Germany joined the RED BULL team of 2011 (Daniel, Giani from Reunion Island and Louis from Mayotte).

This 1st 82h trip takes place on the EASTERN Bank with a very big trolling activity in heavy spinning : yellowfin tunas (39kg for the biggest), wahoos (22kg the largest) some dorados (12kg for the biggest). But jigging and baiting is difficult because of bad currents and very tonic weather conditions!

Only a few dogtooth tunas (23.5kg for the biggest), groupers, jobfish and red fish (coral trouts, red snappers and lunar tailed coral trouts) were tempted!

The 2nd trip of 82h also took place around Rodrigues in order to balance the multi-fishing side by insisting on jigging and baiting. The big fish have not bitten. Only 2 large dogtooth tunas were lost. For the rest, sharks have been released, as well as 5 ignobilis trevallies, and many groupers.

Louis made a first with a beautiful pompano trevally. In total, this superb team caught 29 species in very difficult conditions…!
