Jean Claude from Fishingzone, a passionate fisherman, owns one of the most famous fishing shops in Switzerland (Biel-Nidau). He comes for the first time to Rodrigues for a 34h and a day trip around Rodrigues. Weather is excellent and makes all techniques possible.

– Trolling: the activity is difficult due to the too good sea conditions! Jean Claude makes his first blue marlin estimated about 120kg and well released! Beautiful dorados (14kg the largest) yellowfin tunas (23kg the largest)…and only 1 wahoo!

– Jigging: Detection is excellent and current is favorable.  This allows to make beautiful catches of dogtooth tuna (25kg for the biggest), jobfish, red coral trouts, groupers, bluefin trevallies, big eyes trevallies, moon-tail bass etc…. as well as a white tip shark about 100 kg is released.
