We had not had South Africans aboard for a few years. Thanks to Georges and Theresa, owners of the PIRATES’ LODGE at St François, Mark came with his wife Karien and their both daughters Taylin (6 years old) and Gabby (18 months) for our last trip of the year, with an ideal quiet sea. Morning was busy: wahoos, dorados, bonitos, a beautiful marlin unhooked and a smaller strangled with a live bonito, whereas afternoon was long and difficult. Congratulations to the two sweet girls who have been very nice and had sea legs but also because they brought their dad good luck for his very first black marlin on trolling!
