We head East for this second trip longer than for Hawkins, thanks to a journey twice as shorter. Currents seem to be more or less the same and trolling activity lower. We still meet our usual wahoos (23kg for the biggest) and yellowfin tunas (24kg for the biggest). Numerous red coral trouts, red snappers, blue trevallies and lugubris ones animated jigging just before Claudius releases a nice giant trevally about 20kg. As we truly believe when fishing, in the last fishing hour, Claudius will catch is most beautiful dogtooth tuna of 70.5kg on baiting with a live bonito on his Stella 30000 (the 198th over 50kg aboard Black Marlin).
This catch is only the due reward of our friend’s persistence.
